MI Medicaid
As of Janurary 1st, 2023 Michigan Medicaid Plans now covers "Doula Support"... This is limited to Birth/labor Support & Postpartum Support.

What Does MI Medicaid cover?
According to the MI Medicaid Doula Initiative, Mothers & Birthing Persons, who are enrolled in an MI medicaid health plan are eligible to receive "doula services" completely covered by their individual medicaid health care plan.

Prenatal & Postpartum services are limited to 12 appointments total, but if more are needed, they can be requested in writing by a physician.
