Hello, My Name is Elexus! I am the Owner & Founder of Wise Wombman Collective! I created Wise Wombman Collective with the dream of a healed & thriving community supported by great healers, teachers, protectors and midwives....as our ancestors once did. I want to live in a world where injustice- birth injustice specifically, doesn't exist! Studies have shown that trauma is genetically passed down to our descendant's. Bringing new life into the world should not be a traumatic experience!
It should be a space of love, trust, & protection.
Birth is Sacred & Beautiful. Life is Sacred & Beautiful. And they deserve to be protected, supported, & nurtured. Families deserve to know all their options/ choices, & to have their concerns heard & addressed!

Hello, My name is Chelsey!
I have 3 children, two girls and one boy. I've had 2 hospital births and one home birth. I am a pregnancy/ birth Doula and trained breastfeeding support specialist.
I first found out what a Doula was when I was preparing for the birth of my eldest daughter. The name came up when I was looking up how to make a birth plan, and that's when I first became interested in Doula. It wasn't until 5 years later when I became pregnant with my son, and having a Doula present for his birth is when I decided I wanted to be one myself. Though my births went as planned, there are wombman that have had traumatic birth experiences that shouldn't have. The BIPOC shouldn't be 3x more likely to die in child birth alongside their white counterparts, and that's where I come in to help smooth the curve. So every Wombman can feel safe, heard, and supported through their pregnancy and birth. I feel like Doulas are undervalued and very much needed in our community.
